Bio

I received a B.A. and an M.A. from the Department of Religion at Florida State University, where I looked at the social and economic history of Christianity and Islam, as well as the relationship between religion and capitalism. My current research interests are in the areas of political economy, social theory, and historical sociology. More specifically, I am interested in the political economy of debt, responses to financial crises, and the social cost of bailouts.
