Bio
Don is a doctoral student in the Department of Sociology at CU Boulder. He earned his B.A. in sociology from Metropolitan State University of Denver, and his M.A. in sociology from the University of Colorado Denver. His work focuses on social determinants of health, population health, social demography, health disparities, and quantitative methodology. His research has included an examination of the risk for subtypes of depression by sexual identity, and the mental health effects of job decision-making latitude for female and male workers.
